Make it so!

Hello fellow food enthusiasts. We at The Wooden Table are very happy to announce the launch of our humble blog. It’ll be here that we discuss the culture and cuisine of The Wooden Table. Since, we quite literally eat, live and breathe The Wooden Table, I have a suspicion that this blog will quickly become less a story about our coursed pop-up dinners and more about the adventures, meals, music, art and people that inspire us to do what we do.

For those who haven’t dined with us yet (and there are many of you) I’ll be posting the obligatory “about us” ditty very very soon. But, in the meantime, if someone asked me what The Wooden Table was all about in 25 words or less . . . say like a reporter from the Merc or something (an interview I’m constantly rehearsing in my head), I’d have to say:

We’re all about using interesting ingredients (locally sourced whenever possible) and forward-thinking techniques to prepare good food to friends and friends of friends.

A vague description, I know, but stick with us and we won’t let you down. If you’re not our friend just yet, try contacting us, we’re an amicable bunch (dine@thewoodentablesj.com).

With the formal introductions out of the way . . . on to the pictures! These are a just a few teaser shots from our previous meal at The Wooden Table, 6 seats, 5 courses, forward forward forward.
